Message from Handbridge Park Officer PCSO Fox

Below is a brief outline of the crimes on households that have been reported around the Handbridge Park Ward between 25/03/17 and 17/04/17 which are of interest or have an effect on the local communities
.

28/03 – 16.40 – Lache Lane – Insecure bike taken from rear garden

05/04 – 01.30-07.30 – Lowerfield Road, Westminster Park - Motorbike stolen from driveway
 
10/04 09.00 – 12/04 15.00 – Rowcliffe Avenue, Westminster Park – Large wooden planter taken from garden
 
11/04 20.00 – 12/04 07.00 – Rowcliffe Avenue, Westminster Park – Two large planters taken from garden
 
12/04 – 04.20-04.30 - Rowcliffe Avenue, Westminster Park – Garden furniture and plants stolen from garden
 
16/04 – 03.30-03.35 – Appleyards Lane, Handbridge – Metal garden font stolen from garden.

The majority of the above crimes have been thefts of garden equipment or plants from gardens. Please consider if possible nailing down or connecting any valuable garden equipment to the ground or the house to make items as difficult to take as possible. If you see anything suspicious in your local area please call 101 and report it to us straight away.

Also ensure that you phone 101 if you witness anything you think is suspicious around your local area, it could be that your phone call can be vital in helping us stop or solve a crime.
