As we continue into spring and the warmer months please be vigilant about making sure your sheds and outdoor storage is secured, historically around this time of year there will be an increase in shed breaks and gardening equipment going missing! In addition to this, when busy in the garden please ensure that you secure your front / back doors to ensure nobody sneaks into your address whilst you’re preoccupied cutting the lawn or tending to your flower beds! Don’t forget that last month Cheshire police ‘The Herbert Protocol. We’re really keen to promote this this scheme as it is aimed at the welfare and safety of loved ones suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's. Crime Updates – March
Cheshire police have responded and attended 93 incidents in your area in April. These incidents varied in seriousness however include attempt burglaries, road traffic offences, suspicious persons, concern’s for safety, domestic incidents and anti-social behaviour.
On 2nd April 2017 between midnight and 01.00am entry was gained to Freight First on Whitehouse Industrial Estate, a van has been loaded with approximately £15,000.00 woth of oil and driven off through the main gate, incident 824 refers.
Overnight 16th April 2017 business entered on Aston Fields Road, Whitehouse industrial Estate copper and lead stolen from the location, incident 228 - 18/04/17.

Burglary 4th April 2017 around 9.20 pm an address on Moss Lane, Moore has been entered and a wallet and keys to the occupant’s vehicle stolen, a Black Mercedes S Class has then been stolen from the address incident 1013 refers.
Lock and secure your doors even when in the address.
Keep valuables out of site.
A worthwhile investment is fitting outside security lights controlled by an automatic time-switch or infra-red beams.
Consider installing CCTV.
3rd April 2017 a vehicle with smashed windows pulled on to the Ice Cream Farm on Newton Lane, Daresbury when it was closed. When the two male occupants were challenged they drove off.
Sunniside Lane, Sandymoor reported two males sat in a vehicle outside an address at 4.40pm on 12th April 17, acting suspiciously, again when challenged the vehicle drove off, this time at speed.
Reports of cold callers in the Newmoor Lane area of Sandymoor around 19th April 17, caller believed they were the same callers who scamming residents last year.Do not feel pressured into allowing anyone access to your address and look out for people taking advantage of elderly or vulnerable neighbours.
Vehicle seized on Manor Park Avenue, Runcorn on 24/04/17 for no Insurance.
