 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Whitby
  • Cavandish Gardens – Possible attempt to gain entry via rear upvc door.  Wire found by the door and various scratches made around lock area.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Ringway – Panel in rear door smashed. Offender then reaches in and unlocks the door using a key which was in the lock.  Jewellery box and contents taken.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Porch door forced off hinges causing door to buckle.  Untidy search made and Lenovo laptop and bag contacting new bedding taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Alvanley Road – Entry gained via a rear door which was possibly insecure.  Keys to a grey Vauxhall Corsa, BD65 ZPM taken. – Vehicle made off from Police but was revered on Sutton Way.  Male arrested. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Park Street – 2 offenders have climbed onto the first storey roof of the ‘Brewers Arms’ public house to access the patio area.  1 offender has obscured the camera whilst the other has tried to gain access to the bar area via the rear patio doors.  The offenders have been disturbed by the licensee.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Heath Lane – Garage door pulled back until it has given way to gain entry. Case of assorted Bordeaux wine taken.
  • Netherpool
  • Gateacre Court – Padlock cut off garage side door which is then jemmied open to gain entry.  Untidy search made within. 2 mountain bikes, Carrera Kraken and Scott Spark taken along with various power tools and a chain saw.  
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:

  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Dale Gardens – Rear garden entered and door to summer house forced to gain entry.  Bike placed onto garden to access Scott X mountain bike in black with yellow tyres taken.
Criminal Damage 
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks – Glass panels of bus stop near to MacDonalds smashed.
  • Eton Road – Outer pane of glass in side hall window smashed.
  • Thornton Road – Damage caused to rear panel of garden shed by burning the panel.
  • Brancepeth Court – Wooden fence panel pulled down.
  • Rossmore
  • Worcester Walk – Lounge window smashed by unknown means. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • The Quillet – Ashes from a fire in a neighbouring garden have caused damage to garden furniture and their protective covers.
  • Frobisher Road – Outer pane of glass smashed. – Named suspect.
  • Raby Park Road – Front house window smashed.
  • Sutton
  • Seacombe Drive – Group of youths setting fires on grassed area of park.
  • Seacombe Drive – Entry gained into the outbuilding of outbuilding at ‘St. Saviours’ primary school.  Mattress and old wooden desks set alight.
  • Grange
  • Camden Road – Living room window smashed. – Named suspect.
  • Princes Road – Front garden entered and chain securing a blue mountain bike cut through.  Bike taken.
Theft 
  Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Park Road – Entry gained into rear garden via an insecure gate. Merida mountain bike in black, white and green taken.
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Woods Avenue – Whilst at ‘Marks and Spenser’ purse taken from bag within trolley.
  • Rossmore
  • Percival Road – 3 unknown offenders have entered secure rear garden and taken a 3 wheeled trike/go-cart. – Occupants of the house have chased offenders and retrieved property. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Neston Road – 2 separate reports of bikes being taken from the car park of the ‘Nags Head’ public house. Orbea Avant M30 racing bike in white taken from the rear car rack of a vehicle after the lock was by unknown means. Dolan road bike in blue, black and white, which had been secured to fencing, was also taken after the lock was broken off.
  • Netherpool
  • Overpool Road – Whilst paying for items at the tills in the ‘Co-op’ a customer has placed an IPhone 6 on to the counter top, accidentally leaving it behind.  Upon returning the phone has gone.
  • North Road – 10 keys and ignition barrels have been taken by an employee. – male arrested and charged.
Vehicle Crime 
 Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Alvanley Road – Red Vauxhall Astra, DF16 OHO taken after keys left on garden wall. – Vehicle recovered from outside shops on Green Lane, Chester.
  • Alvanley Road – Entry gained via a rear door which was possibly insecure.  Keys to a grey Vauxhall Corsa, BD65 ZPM taken. – Vehicle made off from Police but was revered on Sutton Way.  Male arrested.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Denhall Lane – Secure Hyundai has drivers door lock damaged to gain entry.  Rear seats pulled forward to access boot area and handbag taken.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Berwick Road – 2 vehicles parked on car park of ‘Mercure’ hotel entered and tools taken from within. Mercedes Sprinter van has rear door lock forced to gain entry. Untidy search made and various power tools have been taken.  Other tools have been left strewn around on the ground. Mitsubishi L200 has rear door forced and tools taken from within. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Lane – Mercedes A160 has wing mirror kicked off.
  • Rossmore
  • Ross Road – Renault Modus, parked at ‘Michal Autos’ has wing mirror damaged by unknown means.
Other incidents of note.... 
  •  Braemar Court – 2 unknown males have knocked at door and informed the occupant that the aerial needed fixing to the roof.  Charged £180 but left having completed no work.
