Burglary
 

Incidents reported relating to residential property:

 

ELLESMERE PORT WEST

  • Parkgate
  • Springcroft – Unsuccessful attempt to gain entry via rear kitchen door where offenders have attacked the trim on the door panel. – CCTV shows 2 offenders with hoods up and scarfs making off on foot.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Sutton Hall Drive – Rear of address accessed via gate.  Outer pane of double glazed French door damaged by unknown means causing glass to shatter.  No entry gained.
  • St. Pauls
  • Old Chester Road – Entry gained into premises by unknown means.  Tidy search of bedroom drawers and cash taken. – Male arrested.

ELLESMERE PORT WEST

  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Welsh Road – Roller shutter to unit forced to gain entry.  Quantity of power tools and bikes, no further details. – CCTV shows a male in a white Transit on site during the early hours of the morning.

Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:

  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Gleneagles Road – Unsuccessful attempt made to enter detached garage causing damage to the window and door.  Offender/s have then gained access to a converted VW Crafter van and after an untidy search removed a blue Yamaha motocross bike, S829 MRN which has then been taken.
  • Netherpool
  • Rivacre Road – 2 unknown male offenders have entered the building site at Vauxhall Sports and Social Club and climbed onto the top of the containers to access first storey lever.  After prising open a window they have accessed the office area where an untidy search has been made before taking 2 laptops.
Criminal Damage 

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Flatt Lane – Group of youths climbing onto roof of garage. One has partially fallen through causing damage.
  • Warkworth Court – Brick thrown through upper floor window.
  • Rugby Road – Stones thrown at window causing it to smash.
  • Coliseum Way – Drive through window damaged at ‘Burger King’ by disgruntled customer.
  • Doune Court – During verbal altercation male offender punches enforced glass panel of communal door causing the glass to smash.
  • Heathfield Road – Rock thrown through window.
  • Rossmore
  • Firenza Avenue – 2 young unknown males have scratched the lettering of a road sign causing damage.
  • Poole Hall Industrial Estate – Sometime over a 2 month period the padlock to the electricity substation has been removed to allow access.  The switch gear has then been interfered with.

ELLESMERE PORT WEST

  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Mill Lane – Plant pots damaged having been run over with a wheelie bin. – Named suspect.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Ledsham Road – Post and rail damaged to field.  Motorbike ridden through field of crops causing permanent damage to crops.
  • Stephens Gardens – Ball kicked onto roof of car port causing damage to roofing sheet.
  • Netherpool
  • Naylor Road – 4 windows broken by unknown offenders.
  • St. Pauls
  • Hawthorn Road – Shrubs and plants pulled up from front garden.
  • Sutton
  • Fenwick Road – Pillar and 3ft length of garden wall damaged by unknown means.
  • Chester Road – Lock on gate to school field broken off by unknown means to facilitated entry to multiple vehicles and caravans.
  • Grange
  • Festival Road – Boundary hedge set a light.
Theft
 
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:


ELLESMERE PORT EAST

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Dover Court – Brick thrown through front window.
  • Civic Way – Carrera Hellcat mountain bike, secured to bike rack near to ‘Home and Bargain’ taken after lock removed.
  • Cheshire Oaks – 4 unknown offenders have entered ‘McDonalds’ and taken an Apple IPad from the counter area whilst the owner has been paying for a drink.
  • Wellington Road – Pedal cycle, secured to bike rack outside Asda taken. – No further details.
  • Cheshire Oaks – Bright yellow Voodoo Bizango mountain bike, secured to bike rack at ‘Debenhams’ taken by unknown offender.
  • Malvern Avenue – Childs sit in toy car and blue seesaw taken from front garden during the early hours of the morning.
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Lane – Padlock cut off locker in changing room at ‘David Lloyd’ leisure centre.  Nothing taken.

ELLESMERE PORT WEST

  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Greenfields Drive – 6ft green metal bench wooden slatted bench taken from front of property.
  • Neston
  • Hinderton Road – Insecure and unattended black Carrera Crossfire 2 mountain bike taken from Stanney Fields play area.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Ledsham Road – IPhone 6s taken from unattended handbag on table within ‘Travellers Rest’ public house.
  • Grange
  • Overpool Road – Light green diamond back bike taken from ‘Wheatsheaf’ public house.  No further details.
Vehicle Crime 
 
Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

  • Rossmore
  • Rossmore Road East - CCTV shows a silver Vauxhall Vectra pull onto the forecourt where a male gets out of the rear, carrying what appears to be a drill in his hand.  The male approaches a White Ford Transit, MK13 VNU which is then driven off the forecourt.

ELLESMERE PORT WEST

  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Gleneagles Road - Blue Yamaha motocross bike, S829 MRN taken after VW Crafter entered at burglary.
  • Netherpool
  • Blackstairs Road – Grey Kawasaki ZX 1100, P597 UHY, taken from parking area to rear of address.

  • Rossmore
  • Inward Way – Unknown male on a push bike throws brick through window of Fiat 500 before taking a bag containing shoes from within.

ELLESMERE PORT WEST

  • St. Pauls
  • Hillfield Road – Renault Megane entered by unknown means.  Owner has heard noise from car door and found 2 young males sitting in vehicle.  Males have made off.  Nothing taken.
  • Cloverfield Gardens – Vauxhall Corsa entered by unknown means and cds, locking wheel nut sun glasses and trainers taken.
  • Hillfield Road – 2 vehicles reported entered overnight. 1st - Vauxhall Corsa, parked on driveway entered by unknown means and Garmin sat. nav. taken from glove box. 2nd – Mercedes B180 entered by unknown means.  Untidy search made within and sat. nav., keys and dash cam taken.
  • Eagle Lane – Vauxhall Astra SXI, parked on residential driveway entered and untidy search made within leaving items strewn around the vehicle and outside of it.
  • Sutton
  • Fenwick Road – Having heard a loud bang home owner has noticed a male sitting in their BMW.  Male made off.  Nothing appears to have been taken.

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks – Maserati Ghibli, parked on car park scratched along the length of the vehicle with an unknown object.
  • Rover 25, parked on road has nearside wing mirror smashed.
  • Whitby
  • Elm Grove – Nissan Note, parked on residential driveway has rear offside tyre slashed by unknown means.
  • Vale Road – Peugeot 3008, parked on residential driveway has the rear windscreen wiper set alight by unknown person causing damage to the wiper.

ELLESMERE PORT WEST

  • Neston
  • Bridge Street – Unknown object thrown from bridge hits an Audi A3 parked nearby causing damage to the bonnet.
  • Sytchcroft – Ford Fiesta has rear window smashed by unknown means.
  • Breezehill Road – Vauxhall Corsa, parked on residential driveway scratched along the length of vehicle with unknown object.
  • Liverpool Road – Vauxhall Meriva, whilst leaving car park of ‘Malt Shovel’ public house has rear window smashed by unknown means.
  • Gladstone Road – Ford Fiesta, parked on road had wing mirror kicked off by group of passing youths.
  • Blackeys Lane – Volvo Estate, parked on roadside keyed along the length of vehicle.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Birkenhead Road – Grey BMW 320 Estate, parked near block of flats in residential area has tyre punctured with nail. – This has occurred on 3 separate occasions.
  • St. Pauls
  • Mill Lane – Vauxhall Vivaro has rear window smashed.
  • Maple Avenue – Vauxhall Astra Estate, parked on residential street has screw put into side wall of front offside tyre causing slow puncture.
  • Sutton
  • Peckforten Drive – Vauxhall Zafira, parked on residential road has nearside front quarter light window smashed by unknown means.
Other incidents of note... 
 
  • Robbery of motor vehicleVauxhall Vectra, CW52 UBB taken by 2 unknown males during a test drive in the early hours of the morning.  Male driver and passenger remove owner from vehicle before driving off in the direction of the A540 Parkgate Road.
