Crime Updates- November 2017
Cheshire Police responded to many incidents in the grange area throughout October. The incidents varied in terms of seriousness and included a number of individuals acting suspiciously, Drug Offences, assaults, Dog bite and criminal damage.
Anti-Social Behaviour
We have received an increase in calls this month regarding anti-social behaviour in the area with reports of stones being thrown at house windows and bus windows. Also groups of youths being abusive to people in the street when asked to move away from their properties this is not acceptable behaviour anyone caught swearing in the street is potentially committing public order offences and will be dealt with appropriately. Suspicious Activity
In the past month we have had a large amount of calls regarding overnight criminal damage around the area of Norleane Crescent. Multiple call that vehicles have been damaged by having the tyres slashed, the nature of these offence at the moment seem like random acts of vandalism. There is still an ongoing investigation and attempts are being made to identify the suspect any new information would assist the investigation. Roads Policing
I would like to give a polite reminder to residents that you cannot turn right into Ivy Street from Heath Road the right turn is for busses only which is clearly sign posted. To turn into the road you must use the mini roundabout to turn round and come back to turn left into Ivy Street. Any motorists caught contravening theses traffic signs could be liable for prosecution which could leave you with a fine, I urge all motorist to adhere to the rules of the road.

It’s getting to that time of year as we approaching Christmas time which can bring an increase in theft offences, I would like to remind everyone the importance of keeping your house locked and secure. Also don’t leave any valuables, money or presents in your vehicle in view or overnight and remain vigilant in keeping your property safe.
