Some of things that have come to our attention in Beechwood during February.........
We have received calls regarding off road bikes frequenting the Beechwood area at all times of the day. Mainly on the cycle path as well as the foot path near to Paddock Rise.
We have also received calls regarding a motor bike being ridden on Cherry Blossom Road in an aggressive manner. The rider was not wearing a helmet.
These vehicle are committing an offence and bikes will be seized and crushed. If you have any information as to who is riding these bikes or addresses where the bikes are being stored you can contact us on 101.
- Speeding Beechwood Avenue
Beechwood Avenue currently has a speed limit of 30 mph. It also has two primary schools (Beechwood Primary & Hillview Primary) on it. Please ensure you are adhering to the limits, they are there for a reason.
If you have a child that attends either of the two primary schools on Beechwood and you drive your children there please be mindful of how and where you park your vehicles. We have received complaints from residents who have had their driveways blocked or have found it difficult to get past cars who are parked poorly. If you vehicle is deemed to be causing an obstruction and we see it you will receive a fixed penalty notice.
