Ellesmere Port & Neston News Bulletin
28th April to 5th May 2018
 Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
  • Whitby
  • Underwood Drive – Entry gained via an insecure upper floor window. Damage caused to internal doors and Samsung 50” TV, Dell laptop and Sony camcorder taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Swale Road – Entry gained in unoccupied property by smashing rear ground floor window.  Appears that offender/s have tampered with the fireplace. 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Meadow Lane – Door lock snapped to gain entry via a back door.  Kitchen searched and wallet, watch and keys to a blue VW Golf, SG16 CLA taken, along with the vehicle.
  • St. Pauls
  • Maple Avenue – Entry gained into property buy unknown means.  Keys to a Renault, NA15 ZHK taken, along with the vehicle. - Vehicle found on fire on disused railway line on North Road. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
  • Neston
  • Buildwas Road – Unknown offender/s have entered commercial property by smashing a window.  Untidy search made and computer equipment taken. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
  • St. Pauls
  • Chatsworth Close – Home owner woken by alarm sounding.  Garage found to have a hole made into roof area.  No entry gained at this time.
  • Valley Drive – 2 padlocks cut off garage door.  Unsuccessful attempt made to cut off 3rd to gain entry but it could be possible the offender/s have been disturbed.
  • Sutton
  • Cholmondely Road – Entry gained into garage after offenders have removed lock and dead pins, damaging the doors quite badly in the process.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wellesley Avenue – Front door damaged. – Named suspect.
  • Rossmore
  • South Pier Road – Bolt cutters used to remove lock to ‘Boat Museum’ car park. 
  • Parkgate
  • Beechways – Letter box ripped off.  Chalk crosses also found ground near to the property.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Unknown offender/s have broken through the perimeter fencing to the substation.  Once inside damage has also been caused to the transformers.
  • Sutton
  • Greasby Drive – Fence panel damaged.  
  • Grange
  • Bishops Gardens – Rear kitchen window smashed.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Victory Court – Mountain bike, secured in rear garden taken.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Meadow Lane – Blue VW Golf, SG16 CLA taken after keys taken during a burglary.
  • St. Pauls
  • Maple Avenue – Renault, NA15 ZHK taken after keys taken during a burglary. - Vehicle found on fire on disused railway line on North Road.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Dudleston Road – Insecure Nissan Qashqai entered.  Search made but nothing believed to have been taken.
  • Netherpool
  • Hillside Drive – Vauxhall Adam has both front and rear registration plates DA64 OCK taken. – Registration plates found as below.
  • Rivacre Road – Ford Focus has both front and rear registration plates, DJ09 EFC taken and DA64 OCK stuck on in their place. – Taken from above vehicle.
