Ellesmere Port & Neston News Bulletin
28th May to 2nd June 2018
 
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
  
Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kingsley Road – Property entered via an insecure door.  Purse, handbag, mobile phone, Xbox 360 games and controllers taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Wilkinson Street – Alarm activated and resident found rear kitchen door ajar.  No entry believed to have been gained. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Entry gained into property by unknown means and wallet and car keys taken.  Black Audi A4 Estate, FT12 LXD taken, along with the vehicle.
  • Sutton
  • Mosslands Close – Property entered by unknown means.  Untidy search made within and 3 bottles of whiskey taken with the keys to a Silver BMW 318, OJ51 MAC, which was also taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kinsey Road – Bus stop smashed up.
  • Rossmore
  • Station Road – Door to flat damaged, causing it to some off its hinges. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Crookes Close – Over course of week damage has been caused to the fencing, where it has been scratched, the word ‘POO’ has been scratched into the driveway and stones have been thrown around the front of the property.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – Window smashed with brick.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Rhuddlan Court – Red Carrera Kraken mountain bike, left insecure outside address, taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Station Road – Bike, secured outside ‘Halfords’ on Westminster Retail Park taken. – No further details of the bike. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Insecure Carrera mountain bike, left near to bus stop taken.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands –Black Audi A4 Estate, FT12 LXD taken after keys obtained during a burglary.
  • Sutton
  • Mosslands Close – Silver BMW 318, OJ51 MAC taken after keys obtained in a burglary.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Naylor Road – Passenger door prised open at the top in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry.
  • Grange
  • Pooltown Road – Ford Transit Connect van has front and rear registration plates, MX66 XMJ taken. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Warkworth Court – Kia Sorrento has lit box of matches placed on rear offside wheel causing tyre to explode and burning to the plastic wheel arch edging.
  • Jenkinson Lane – Mazda 2 found with crack in windscreen and rock lying on the floor next to vehicle. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Chester Road – Vauxhall Astra keyed along the length of the drivers side.
  • St. Pauls
  • Broxton Road – Brick thrown through windscreen of Vauxhall Corsa.
