PCSO 22299 Update
Hartford ASB/Crime figures
ASB – 7
Of note are three reports of an off-road scrambler bike riding up and down Chester Road and onto Mornant Ave. The bike was described as Blue with Monster Stickers on it. After organising targeted patrols in the area I seized a blue off-road bike with Monster stickers on it on Monday 4/6/18. Male rider is being dealt with accordingly and bike will be crushed.
One vehicle seized on the Greenbank estate for being driven with not Insurance and without a correct license. m
There is also a bit of a trend forming on the car park opposite the CO-OP Chester road whereby young males are attending in numbers with their vehicles and causing ASB. This will be my priority for the next month.
Shoplifting – 3
One at the Co-op whereby a male entered the store took a quantity of meat and left without making any attempt to pay. I was able to identify the offender the same day and they were subsequently arrested the following day for a number of shopliftings across Northwich.
Burglary/Theft – 3
One attempted theft at Hartford Golf Club, Offenders disturbed and made off.
One theft from motor vehicle whereby a jacket has been stolen.
One theft of a spare tyre. Following work by our taskforce at Winsford two males were arrested in possession of approx. 40 spare tyres from high value vehicles.
Suspicious circumstances – 4
Of note males have been in the area looking for scrap and have also offered to do someone’s driveway. They have been aggressive with residents and I would recommend that if you need any work doing you go to a trusted workman.
Highway disruptions – I LOST COUNT
Following the introduction of the double yellow lines I have had several people a day approach me regarding the parking in Hartford. There have been numerous complaints that the lines don’t come far enough down and should finish after Walnut Lane. Residents have complained that there are now cars parking on their side streets making it difficult to get in and out of their driveways. I have ticketed where appropriate (Mostly for blocking junctions) and I will continue to monitor the situation. Everything is being relayed to the council.
Plan for the month is to target the parking issues and as previously stated to target the issues on the CO-OP car park.
PCSO update/Looking forward
Looking forward I will be attending lots of summer community events which I am sure will all be a roaring success as they were last year.
St. Johns church Hartford will now be an out of office base for me with office space for me out in the community meaning I can spend more of my time in Hartford without the need to return to the station. This will be backed up by some posters in the Church centre foyer.
A new coordinator has been assigned for Hartford taking over from Julia and should be arranging another meeting for the Neighbourhood watch in the near future.
