Crime Updates

Cheshire Police responded to many incidents in the Norton South area throughout June .

The incidents varied in terms of seriousness and included a number of individuals acting suspiciously, drug offences, assaults and criminal damage.

There has been a knife crime operation running for the past couple of months which has been successful due to stop checks and arrests being carried out on individuals in the area of Runcorn.


Anti-Social Behaviour

We have received an increase in calls this month regarding anti-social behavior persons on off road bikes especially around the Stockham lane area of Brookvale

If you are suffering with any anti-social behavior issues or any information in relation to the off road bikes  please call us on 101.


Suspicious Activity

In the past month we have had a large amount of calls regarding males trying car doors and opening unlocked car doors and taking property . Enquiries are on  going  to identify the offenders from CCTV cameras in the area and forensics recovered from the vehicles  . We do ask that car owners make sure they do lock their cars and don’t have valuables on show .


Roads Policing

Speed Enforcement has been conducted throughout the month of January by PCSO Griffiths .

If there is a specific road or area you believe has an issue in respect to speeding then by all means get in touch and we can if it’s possible focus on that area.

Community information

Recently we have been working with the Illegal Money Lending Team and attended St Martin’s School to promote ‘ Stop the Loan Sharks Campaign ‘. We have also signed up local horse owners to Horse Watch and Op Shield to combat recent thefts from stables and deter such crimes happening again .
