Alert message sent 09/07/2018 14:25:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

Good afternoon Residents Please be aware and look out for elderly residents in your street. Bogus Traders have struck again in the Pheasant Close area of Hale Village on Wednesday 4th July 2018. The "tradesmen" visited the elderly resident quoting £20 to replace roof tiles. This then increased to over £6000. Fortunately Police were contacted and the tradesperson was arrested before any money could exchange hands. Please be vigilant and bear in mind other similar people may be operating in the area. Please report anything or anyone suspicious on 101 or 999 in an emergency Thank you Liz PC 2531 Corless Beat Manager Broadheath Widnes
