If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
  
 Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Whitby
  • Silverne Drive – 2 men entered property and carried out an untidy search of the premises before leaving. – Further details have been sent to Whitby residents but can also be seen on our other social media site of Facebook and twitter.
  • Strawberry
  • Laurelwood Drive – Damage found to both front and back doors, consistent with a screwdriver having been used in an attempt to force open the lock. No entry gained. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Raymond Way – 2 unknown males have entered property via insecure door.  2 handbags taken from the property.
  • Parkgate
  • Hawthorn Road – Entry gained into property by forcing front double glazed door by unknown means.  Tidy search made inside and baby changing bag removed from kitchen.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Entry gained via insecure rear door whilst building works in progress.  Untidy search made and jewellery taken. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • North Road – Fencing forced to gain entry into yard area.  Alarm and CCTV disabled and roller shutter on front of unit forced open.  Large amount of scrap metal taken. 
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks – Gaming machine damaged at ‘Ten Pin’ where unknown male has tried to remove a metal plate.
  • Whitby
  • Overpool Road – Locks broken off shed door.
  • Strawberry
  • Acacia Avenue – Group of youths tucked newspapers into hedging before setting them alight.  Local resident put the fire out but hedge and grass has been burnt.
  • Rossmore
  • Worcester Walk – Fence damaged by unknown person in attempt to unsuccessfully open locked gate.
  • Firenza Avenue – Outer pane of window found to have 2 small holes in, possibly from a pellet gun or similar. 
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Newnham Drive – Blue and white Kona mountain bike, left in front garden of property taken.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Sutton
  • Hope Farm Road – Blue and green ‘Hell Cat’ mountain bike taken from outside ‘Port Wines’. 
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Parkgate
  • Moorings Close – White Renault Master panel van, HY58 CBX, with signage stating ‘Flame and Hog, Barbeques. Hog Roasts’ on side taken after key removed from another vehicle which had been broken into (no details of this vehicle) – Vehicle recovered on Merlin Road, Oxton, Merseyside with slight damage to the nearside sill.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Whitby
  • Pembroke Drive – Insecure Vauxhall Meriva, parked on residential driveway, entered and a bag containing food and toys taken. – CCTV shows male offender trying other vehicles in the area. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Snowden Road – Chevrolet Matiz, parked secure to rear of ‘Pizza’ premises during late hours of the evening.  Drivers window smashed and sat. nav. and mobile phone taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Westminster Road- Ford Fiesta, parked on street has wing mirror punched by an unknown male causing it to fall off.
