If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Exeter Road – Entry gained into property by forcing back door.  Quantity of Samsung, Lenovo, Acer tablets, Ipad and Samsung S6+ mobile phone taken along with jewellery. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Sutton
  • Summertrees Road – Entry gained into property through rear door after snapping lock.  Keys taken to a black BMW 140i, DC67 HBD.  Occupants have disturbed offenders on driveway and tried to prevent the vehicle being taken, both have sustained injuries as vehicle has been driven away. – Vehicle located, locked and secure in Eastham, Merseyside. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cromwell Road – Site of new build entered by 2 unknown offenders scaling a tree to get over the perimeter fence. 2 properties entered and assorted items taken from within. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Village Square – Entry gained into ‘Pollards Inn’ via ground floor window.  Door to office forced open and safe and change from till trays taken. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Hillfield Road – Unsuccessful attempt made to force entry into integral garage causing damage to the lock and spring system.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Mercer Walk – Group of youths, captured by Port Arcades security CCTV ripping plants from planters and throwing them around the area.
  • Thornton Road – Youths have set fire to some wooden pallets and plastic on the field causing damage to the grass.
  • Rivington Road – Group of youths riding their bikes into the shutters of ‘Claire House’ which has caused them to come off their tracks requiring repair by an engineer.
  • Rossmore
  • Percival Road – Upper floor window to flat smashed with a brick.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Coliseum Way – Black and orange Carrera mountain bike, chained up outside the cinema taken after chain cut through.
  • Whitby
  • Chester Road – 2 males take a quantity of cash from a gaming machine in the ‘Woodlands’ public house.
  • Stanney Lane – Blue Trek 3500, secured in bike shed at Ellesmere port Sports Village taken by an unknown male, after cutting through lock and ridden away onto Stanney Estate.
  • Rossmore
  • Poole Hall Road – Jasic Arc 180se welding machine taken from ‘BOC Ltd’.  CCTV shows male offender driving out of compound gates on a red motorbike. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Unknown person enters open compound and takes a blue Makita vibrasaw, in its case with charger and battery.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Sutton
  • Summertrees Road – Black BMW 140i, DC67 HBD taken after keys obtained during a burglary.  – Vehicle located, locked and secure in Eastham, Merseyside.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Swale Road – 2 males seen to pull up behind a Ford Transit and using an unknown implement try to unsuccessfully gain entry through a door leaving damage around the lock area. The males were using a vehicle with Irish registration plates. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Grange
  • Fleet Street – Ford Transit has damage caused to lock area in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry.  It has also been scratched along the side. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Stour Court – Ford Focus set alight by unknown means resulting in it being completely burnt out. Vauxhall Astra damaged due to being parked next to the other vehicle.
