Good news

Yesterday 22/7/18 around 17:00 there were two shoplifting's in Hartford, One each at the Co-op and Sainsburys'. The offenders stole several hundred pounds worth of meat products from the store during the offences. Staff at the Co-op noticed what was happening and immediately called 999 to request police. Officers were dispatched on an immediate response and caught up with the offenders vehicle on the A556 northbound. A male and a female were subsequently arrested and 4 large bags of stolen meat products were found in the rear of the vehicle as well as large amounts of stolen clothing.

Fantastic work by local officers to track the offenders and bring them to justice.
