11th to 19th August 2018
  
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Whitby
  • Old Hall Drive – During overnight period entry gained into property through a small insecure window to rear of property.  Search made within and quantity of change taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • High Street - Access gained to communal front door of flats via insecure side gate.  Lower pane of partially glazed front door smashed to gain access.  Once inside a number of residents have had doors knocked on but no further damage has been caused before they have left the building.
  • Netherpool
  • Forrest Road – Secure property on new build housing estate has ground floor window prised open to gain entry. Generator taken. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • North Road – During hours of darkness offenders have cut through boundary fencing to access ‘Eastham Metals’ site.  Metal wall to warehouse cut through and breeze blocks smashed through to gain entry.  Alarm has sounded and offenders have made off.
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Oakfield Road – Shed door forced open using bodily force. Black and yellow Mcculloch petrol lawn mower taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stoke Gardens - Front window smashed. – Named suspect. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Raby Park Road – memorial flower pot at graveside within cemetery damaged.
  • Liverpool Road – CWaC signage on ‘Sytchcroft Park’ damaged by youths.
  • Ringway – Male cuts through chain securing privacy screening. – Named suspect.
  • Raby Park Road – Group of males walking along road with a plank of wood cause damage to property fencing. – Same group have also damaged vehicles in the road.
  • St. Pauls
  • Valley Drive – Youths setting fires on grass area.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cromwell Road – Garden bench taken from rear garden of new build show home by unknown offenders. – Over past few days a glass topped dining table, outdoor corner sofa and a sun lounger have also been taken.
  • Coliseum Way – Video gaming machine at ‘Tenpin’ forced open and quantity of coins taken.
  • Rivington Road – Grey/orange Voodoo Bantu mountain bike, secured with a lock and chain taken by 2 unknown males. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Rossmount Road – Lead flashing removed from roof.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Telford Road – Vauxhall Vectra, whilst parked in the car park area of garage awaiting service has both front and rear registration plates, VA07 VWY taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Hallwood Walk – Honda 125 motorcycle has rear registration plate, FV64 XEN taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Drake Road – Insecure LDV Maxus LWB, parked on residential road accessed and small work lock knife taken from door pocket.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Glenesk Road – Honda Jazz entered by unknown means and wheelchair taken from within.
  • St. Pauls
  • Cedar Avenue – Insecure Ford Focus entered and set of keys taken from centre console.
  • Hawthorn Road – Volvo S80 entered by unknown means.  Untidy search made within and a PDA taxi phone taken. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Lane – Intoxicated male removed from bus then smashes window with stick. – Male arrested.
  • Rossmore
  • Little Birches – Vehicle being driver along road, no further details, hit by a ball from nearby children which has caused a dent in the side of the vehicle. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Raby Park Road – Vauxhall Corsa and Audi damaged by males walking along road with plank of wood. – Male arrested.
  • St. Pauls
  • Old Chester Road – Group of males and females seen messing about in vehicles parked on the forecourt of ‘Great Sutton Garage’. The males then proceed to jump on the bonnets and kick vehicles, causing damage to Hyundai i10, Vauxhall Corsa, Vauxhall Insignia, Vauxhall Zafira and VW Golf. – 2 males arrested.
  • Sutton
  • The Spinney – 2 x Renault Clios, parked at roadside scratched along body of vehicles.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Peugeot Partner van has front windscreen damaged. – CCTV shows an unknown male climbing onto the vehicle and kicking the windscreen, causing it to crack but remain intact.  Another vehicle has also had the wing mirror damaged but this has not been reported.
  • Victory Court – Audi Coupe has a bin thrown at it causing damage to the front wheel arch. – Named offender.
Other incidents of note…
  • Grange Road – On Friday 17th August at approx. 5.30pm a male offender walked up to a till in ‘Aldi’ and whilst holding a knife demanded cash from the cashier.  Quantity of cash taken from the trill by the offender before he left.
