Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
28th October to 5th November 2018
  
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Highfield Road – Unknown male intruder disturbed in the kitchen where entry has been gained by a possibly insecure rear door.  Male has run off via the alleyway to the rear if the property. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Rossmore Road – Raleigh pushbike in purple taken from storage shed at ‘Ellesmere Port Service Station’.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Warkworth Court – Entry gained into communal area of flats door to flat on first floor flats damaged.
  • Grange Road – Small fire set by group of youths next to Aldi.
  • Wellington Road – Fire exit sign at Market Hall smashed in half by group of youths.
  • Cromwell Road – Top row of bricks knocked off wall and top hinge to gate loosened by unknown means.
  • Caernarvon Court – Firework thrown through open window sets fire to curtains and couch.  Scorch marks left on carpet.
  • Bamburgh Court – Firework put through letter box causing the inner section to be blown off.
  • Wellington Road – Group of youths have destroyed cubicle in ‘Asda’ store toilets and set small fire in restaurant area which was put out by staff.
  • Langley Court – Firework thrown through kitchen window causing smoke damage.
  • Criccieth Court – Pile of rubbish set alight.
  • Cambridge Road – Wheelie bin set alight. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Somerville Close – Front boundary wall damaged causing the stone ball on the pillar to fall off.
  • St. Pauls
  • Woodvale Road – Unknown item thrown at window causing damage to outer pane of window.
  • Sutton
  • Hope Farm Road – Having been asked to remove a bicycle left in middle of pavement, bike picked up and thrown onto the floor causing the brake lever to be damaged.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Spunhill Avenue – Insecure vehicle (no further details) on residential driveway entered and purse and bank cards taken from centre console.
  • Bridgewood Drive – BMW, possibly left insecure entered. Untidy search made within and loose change and sat. nav. taken. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Somerville Crescent – Vauxhall Corsa scratched along the passenger side and the rear windscreen wiper was snapped off. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Sutton
  • Wyndham Crescent – Vehicle, parked on residential driveway found with screws placed under the tyres. No further details of vehicle.
