Good Morning ,
I hope everyone is preparing for the festive season and ensuring that you have a great time . Over November Runcorn Police have attended over 200 incidents in the Norton South area . These have ranged from ASB incidents to reports of burglaries and theft incidents . As you prepare for Christmas please ensure that you don't leave your premises insecure and not having lights . Also if you attend shopping areas in your car , don't leave valuables on show . There will extra police patrols over the festive season , especially in shopping / public areas to show a visible police presence and reassure people .

In November we have had the bushes cut back around Brookvale shops and the Community Centre , this was done by Yourhousing on the request of the Police . Also joint visits have been completed with Onward and Riverside housing to vulnerable Tenants , ongoing support and referrals for extra help were submitted .
Psco Griffiths has been doing her patrols around the areas were we have received calls about off road bikes . Operation Scrambler 2 is on going and if you have any information about off road bikes , please contact ourselves . To date around Runcorn 25 off road bikes have been seized. Also she has been doing patrols around areas were suspicious incidents have been called in by members of the public .
We have also been doing leaflet drops in regards to Loan Sharks with Onward/Riverside Housing , this is to support the work we have been doing in Brookvale Primary / Murdishaw west schools and OBA . Again if you have any information in regards to Loan sharks then call Crime stoppers or email myself , any information received will be in strict confidence .
If you need any further information in relation to Loan sharks and the work that the Illegal Money Lending team to combat the loan sharks and give support to victims , please contact myself or Psco Griffiths .
During the Month of November , Psco Griffiths has also given extra attention at Murdishaw west school after parking and driving complaints were phoned in by members of the public .
Also she has attended Brookvale Primary school and given a talk about internet safety to the children .

The Police Surgeries will be held on the following dates , please come down for a chat if you have any issues .

11th December 6pm at Brookvale Childrens Centre .
17th December 10am at Brookvale Childrens Centre.
27th December 12 at Brookvale Childrens Centre .
