Daresbury local Policing Unit (Moore, Sandymoor, Preston Brook, Daresbury, Windmill Hill)
November 2018

Off road bikes
Op Scrambler, which is aimed at tackling off road bikes, continues to run, so please keep on reporting any incidents off road bikes.
Over the past month we have had several incidents of off road bikes around the Phoenix Park area. Unfortunately, to date we have not been able to identify the riders. Please keep the information coming in regarding this issue.

Anti-Social Behaviour
There has been reports of graffiti being left on the play area near to Otterburn Street. Please be vigilant and report any individuals seen doing this. I will be patrolling around this area, when available, to deter any ‘wanna-be’ Bansky’s.
Please continue to report any Anti-Social Behaviour via 101.

Roads Policing
Residents of Nortonwood Lane, Windmill Hill have made us aware of issues with vehicles blocking driveways and parking in a way that obstructs the pavement. Please be considerate when parking your vehicle and adhere to the rules of the road.
There have been several incidents around Moore Primary School whereby parents and carers are parking fully on the pavement when waiting to collect their children. Parking in this way may result in a £30 Fixed Penalty Notice.
Bridgewater Grange is still being monitored since the introduction of double yellow lines and Fixed Penalty Notices will be issued to offending vehicles.
Schools in the area will continue to be regularly visited by the local PCSO to assist with parking issues etc.

Suspicious Activity
There have been several incidents of suspicious activity reported over the past month with the majority being harmless well intentioned calls, however, please continue to report anything you deem as suspicious or out of place via 101.

Drugs
If you have any intelligence about drugs activity in your area please call 101 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555111 or make contact with your local beat manager or PCSO via email or private message on our Social Media Sites.
