Ellesmere Port & Neston News Bulletin
8th to 14th December 2018
  
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Sutton
  • Overpool Road – ‘Sir Robert’ public house entered via a side door by unknown means.  Internal door forced open and gaming machine broken into and TV removed.  Entry forced into spirits store where numerous bottles of alcohol and cigarettes are also removed before the rear doors are forced open for the offender/s to leave.   
 
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • John Nicholas Crescent – On 3 separate occasions over the past 4 days different windows have been smashed at the same property. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Ringway – Rear window smashed by unknown object.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – Front window to flat found smashed. 
  • Grange
  • Luton Road – Rear bathroom window damaged by a small stone.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Woodfield Road – A frame unhitched from a Vauxhall Vectra by an unknown male and taken off in the direction of Whitby Road.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Chester Road – Red Yamaha M Max moped, CX15 YMG taken from outside residential address.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kinsey Road – Peugeot 307, whilst parked on carpark at ‘Cheshire Oaks’, near to ‘Clarks’ store, has both the front and rear registration plates, displaying DE56 LJF taken.
  • Whitby
  • Pembroke Drive – Ford Transit entered by unknown means during the overnight period between Wednesday 5th and Thursday 7th December.  Quantity of tools taken from within.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Burton Road – Rear window on Mercedes and 2 handbags taken.  2 scooters, both carrying passengers were seen driving away in the direction of Bull Hill. – Scooters located on Bull Hill with offenders rummaging through the bags.  The offenders have driven off and the nags have been recovered.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Thornton Road – Unknown group of 7 male youths have smashed windscreen or police vehicle and kicked off the wing mirror before running off in the direction of Cheshire Oaks.
  • Whitby
  • Chester Road – Ford Ranger, parked on residential road has wing mirror pulled off and wiring pulled out.  It has also been scratched along the passenger side.
