Alert message sent 01/05/2019 14:48:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

Hello
We have been made aware of at least three occasions overnight last night to this morning in Hale Village, although it could be elsewhere across our areas, where a male was seen inside a vehicle in the residential area.  The other reports were of attempted thefts and thankfully we do not think they managed to steal anything.
Please remember to lock your vehicle, do not leave ANYTHING in your vehicle when you are not with it and please ensure any c.c.t.v, alarms, security lighting and other crime reduction methods are in order and working.
If you have ANY information which may help please do report these to us on telephone number 101 (a number of residents kindly did such a thing and we were able to check these out).  If you sight anything suspicious please call it through on 999 if needed, such as suspicious persons are in the area or have just left, otherwise call 101 with as much information as possible.
