Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
20th to 25th May 2019
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Lane – Breeze block used to break in through front window of the ‘The Grace Arms’ public house during the early hours of the morning.  One of the gaming machine has been tampered with. Upon being woken from the sound the landlord has gone down into the pub and found a male who upon being confronted has run out of the pub.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Whitby
  • Chester Road – Locks on clothing banks located on the car park of ‘Morrison’ tampered with causing damage.
  • Rossmore
  • Oil Sites Road – Wheelie bin set alight. 
  • Netherpool
  • Gateacre Court – Lock on main door into foyer of flats tampered with so that it does not lock.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Enfield Road – Blue Ford mountain bike taken from front garden by group of 3 unknown males.
  • Sutton Way – Mountain bike, secured in bays at college taken. – CCTV shows male carrying a large gym bag cut the lock off and ride away onto Regent Street. – Bike has since been recovered having been spray painted with damage.
  • Cheshire Oaks – Insecure Orange Calibre 2 Cube bike taken from the rear of ‘Pizza Express’.
  • Stirling Court – White Conquer bike taken from outside address.
  • Rossmore
  • Indigo Road – Silver VW Golf pulled up outside premises on ‘Indigo Business Park’ and a female, wearing a dressing gown got out of the vehicle and took a quantity of vehicle batteries which were on the floor next to the building.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

  • Rossmore
  • Grosvenor Mews – Black Smart Forfour, DA54 THZ, parked outside residential property taken by unknown means.
  • Neston
  • Chester High Road – Entry gained into white Ford Transit Motorhome, DK60 ACX taken from ’Hamlett Motors’.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Dundee Court – Male witnessed entering and searching an insecure VW Golf.  Nothing believed to have been taken. 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Denhall Lane – Honda Civic has passenger window smashed and handbag taken from within.  Handbag found short distance away with a make-up bag appearing to be the only thing missing.
  • Parkgate
  • Boathouse Lane – Vehicle, no further details, which may have been left insecure in the car park entered and 2 purses taken from within. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Jubilee Green – Nissan Juke has drivers side window smashed. 
  • Netherpool
  • Naylor Green – Jaguar E-Pace, parked in private residential carpark damaged on the bonnet and front wing by stones.
