Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
22nd to 27th July 2019
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Gorstons Lane – Entry gained into rear garden of property where security light then disabled.  Offenders disturbed by dog at property and make off along Woodfall Lane.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Exeter Road – Window damaged by unknown means.  No further details.
  • Rugby Road – Unknown item thrown at window causing the outer pane to crack.
  • Flatt Lane – Fire door damaged by unknown person punching it at ‘Xes Club’.
  • Rossmore
  • Percival Road – Lock on front door damaged by unknown means. 
  • Neston
  • Hinderton Road – Ridging slabs on wall next to stream within ‘Stanney Fields’ ripped up and thrown into stream.
  • Drake Road – Brick thrown through window.
  • Shakespeare Road – Brick thrown through living room window.
  • St. Pauls
  • Christleton Drive – Lock on side door tampered with causing damage.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Coliseum Way – Several sets of shoes have been taken from ‘Freedome’.
  • Mercer Walk – Insecure green suspension mountain bike, left outside ‘Job Centre’ taken. 
  • Grange
  • Regent Street – Garden table and chairs taken from garden damaging fence panel in process.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kinsey Road – Vauxhall Agila, whilst parked on car park of ‘Sainsburys’ has front and rear registration plates, showing  taken.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Ledsham Road - Isuzi DMax has handle snapped off rear canopy in what appears to have been an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry, 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Rugby Road – Vauxhall Mokka scratched along nearside with an unknown object. 
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Ford Focus has body work damaged by unknown implement.
  • Sutton
  • Hope Farm Road – Renault Megane found with a dent to rear wing panel made by unknown means.
  • Grange
  • The Crescent – Lexus, parked on driveway has roof and bonnet damaged by a brick. CCTV shows a male on a bike ride up the driveway who has thrown the brick.
  • Faraday Road – Nissan Juke has rear windscreen smashed.
