Halton Castle Area
July 2019

Firstly, there is a new PCSO on the area called Sam Roylance. Sam is a brand new PCSO who brings a wide range of skills with him. He is very approachable so be sure to stop him and say hello.

Off road bikes
Over the past month we have had a handful of incidents of off road bikes around the Runcorn area, however, none have been reported specifically for the Halton Castle area.
Regarding the bikes in Runcorn we have seized/recovered a number of bikes around Halton. Patrols will continue in and around the hotspots to deal with these issues. Please keep the information coming in regarding these incidents of off road bikes it does help us catch the offenders.
Op Scrambler, which is aimed at tackling off road bikes, is still ongoing.

Anti-Social Behaviour
We have had no reported ASB incidents reported to ourselves over the month of July. However, please continue to report any Anti-Social Behaviour via 101.

Roads Policing
Officers have been out with the TruCam (Speed Camera) in the area this month with a number of drivers not adhering to the 30 mph speed limit. (It’s 30 for a reason).
Come September schools in the area will be regularly visited by the local PCSO to assist with parking issues etc.

Suspicious Activity
There have been several incidents of suspicious activity over the past month in the area, with the most being on the Astmoor Industrial Estate. Although the majority of these reports were found not to be malicious, please can you continue to report any suspicious behavior via 101?
Unfortunately, we did have a confirmed burglary on Astmoor with investigations ongoing to locate the culprits.
Please continue to report anything you deem as suspicious or out of place via 101.

Drugs
If you have any information regarding drug activity in your area please call Cheshire Police via 101 or alternatively, Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111. You can also make contact with your local beat manager or PCSO via email or private message on our Social Media Sites.

Surgeries
Weekly surgeries will be held in various times at the Castlefields Community Centre. Please come and discuss any Policing issues with us, or alternatively, if you just want to have a chat with your local officer.

Tuesday 27th August at 19:00 – 20:00
