News Bulletin
Runcorn Local Policing Unit, Halton Brook

August 2019

Local Crime

A bus was attacked by youths on Halton Road with a rear window being broken. Two youths were stopped close by and admitted the offense. Officers are now dealing with them.

Vandals smashed up the notice boards outside the community center and the Auction sign on the Burma Star. CCTV has been reviewed but due to poor light and camera positioning, we have not been able to identify any of the offenders. If anyone has any information please get in touch via my beat social media.

There have been a number of sightings of illegal motorbikes, coming onto the estate reported via 101 or via our LPU email address (below) which is great. We have also received some excellent images via email which have been forwarded to the Op Scrambler team. We are still appealing to residents to contact us in confidence either via the social media private messaging channels, via 101 or at our LPU email address RUNCORN.LPU@CHESHIRE.PNN.POLICE.UK if they have any information about nuisance motorbikes are stored or who is riding them.

Roads Policing

Tru-Cam speed enforcement has been conducted a number of times on Boston Avenue with a small number of activations. If there are any roads that you think require our attention with the camera please get in touch and let me know by social media or email.
