Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
1st to 13th September 2019
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Somerville Crescent – Entry gained into property via rear window.  TV taken.
  • Jubilee Green – Scratching around door lock and lock damaged.  No entry gained.
  • Whitby
  • Deeside – Unknown offender enters rear garden and makes an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry via the rear door causing damage.
  • Rossmore
  • Church Street – 2 males throw a brick through the rear window of property to gain entry. Once inside damage has been caused. – Both males arrested at property.
  • Neston
  • Millfield – Lock barrel on patio door snapped to gain access to the property. Laptop, watch and keys to a black BMW 435i, AK63 LYC, which had been parked further along the road taken. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
  • Netherpool
  • Ross Road – Window to business premises smashed to gain access to office area. Untidy search made and offender has left empty handed.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Heathfield Road – Window to flat cracked by rock found on the ground nearby.
  • Chirk Gardens – Set of drawers in rear garden set alight and memorial garden destroyed.
  • Caernarvon Court – Skip outside property, bins and fencing set alight on 2 separate occasions over the time frame of this bulletin.
  • Harlech Court – Brick thrown through living room window.
  • Coronation Road – 3 upper floor windows at ‘Coronation Centre’ found to have small holes, possibly from a pellet gun. 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Neston Road – Wooden doors to ‘Ness Village Hall’ have been kicked causing damage.
  • Parkgate
  • Liverpool Road – Male smashed window at ‘Malt Shovel’ public house.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – At the entrance to ‘Early Learning Centre’ at ‘Cheshire College’ signage has been ripped from the wall and plant pots damaged.  Garden bench moved and found in car park.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Heathfield Road – Blue marvel and orange trolls scooter with pink handles taken from the bike shed at ‘William Stockton Primary School’.
  • Whitby
  • Underwood Drive – Gas meter taken from property by unknown person. 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Council car park ticket machine broken into and contents taken.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

  • Neston
  • Millfield – Black BMW 435i, AK63 LYC, taken after keys obtained during a burglary. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Richmond Court – Citroen Picasso has tyre punctured with a nail and screw.
  • Victoria Road – VW T-Rock scraped along length of passenger side of vehicle. Believed a number of other vehicle parked in road have also been damaged but no reports received at this time.
  • Rossmore
  • Station Road – Whilst being driver over Westminster Bridge a stone is thrown at a Honda Civic caused the windscreen to crack. 
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Vauxhall Mokka, parked in car park of ‘Little Sutton Community Centre’ has passenger window smashed by an unknown offender.
