We have received a report of a scam recently whereby £2000 has been with drawn/spent on the victims bank cards. The victims have been approached at a local supermarket in Northwich by the suspected offenders who have claimed that the victims vehicle had been damaged . The offenders then asked directions to a vets.
It is then suspected that another person has then removed cards from the victims purse. It is also suspected that the PIN was obtained whilst the victim was at the checkouts. Enquiries are ongoing.
We are asking anyone with any information that may assist us with out investigation to make contact on 101.Quoting incident number IML 523411
