Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
23 to 30 November 2019
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
  • Sutton
  • Seymour Drive – Lock on rear kitchen door snapped to gain entry.  Keys to Silver Golf GTI, MJ18 OFS taken along with vehicle.
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Parkgate Road – Entry gained into 2 ground floor guest rooms via windows.
    • Clothing, jewellery and makeup taken from one room
    • Suitcase, rucksack, laptops, passports and jewellery taken from the other.
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
  • Sutton
  • Capenhurst Lane – Glass pane removed from shed window to gain entry. Barracuda and Scott mountain bike taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Warwick Court – Outer pane of window smashed.
  • Neston
  • Chester Road – Toilet window at rear of ‘Phillip Bates & Co.’ smashed.
  • Sutton
  • Rostherne Avenue -  Window of bungalow smashed.
  • Summertrees Road – Front window smashed by unknown means.
  • Grange
  • Barnston Avenue – Concrete slab thrown through ground floor window.
  • Princes Road – Male refused entry punches pvc signage causing it to smash.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Mill Lane – Storage container at ‘Store First Ltd’ entered by unknown means and Saga master games console, controllers and games taken.
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Romney Croft – 7 security lights removed from garden fencing.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Ledsham Road – ‘Red Row’ building site accesses and a dumper truck, parked in front of a storage container moved by unknown means to allow access to a storage container. Padlocks then cut off and quantity of building tools taken.  These tools include 3 x petrol cut off saws, 2 x wacker plates, cobra reel and a QVA generator.
  • Grange
  • Overpool Road – Pedal cycle, no further details secured outside ‘The Wheatsheaf’ public house taken. 
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

  • Little Neston and Burton
  • West Vale – Grey Citroen Picasso, YY55 KNG, parked on residential street taken after entry gained by unknown means. – Vehicle recovered Thornton Common Road, Merseyside.
  • Sutton
  • Seymour Drive – Silver Golf GTI, MJ18 OFS taken after keys obtained during a burglary.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kinsey Road – Kia Picanto, parked on Carpark C at Cheshire Oaks has front window smashed by 3 youths.
  • Flatt Lane – Volvo V60, parked on car park of ‘Labour Club’ has all windows smashed and paint stripper poured over vehicle causing extensive damage to body work.
  • Strawberry
  • Hope Farm Road – Driver of Citroen Berlingo pulls alongside BMW and after gesturing towards the driver opens the door into side of BMW causing denting.
  • Rossmore
  • Cook Street – Mini Cooper, parked in car park area hit with a large unknown item which has caused damage to the vehicle.
  • Grange
  • Atherton Road – Wing mirror kicked of Ford Focus St.
