Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
1 to 6 December 2019
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Chester Road – Door kicked in to gain entry. Untidy search made of upper floor rooms and jewellery and watches taken.
  • Netherpool
  • Mulberry Park – Whilst putting out bin pet dog escapes from property when it had been shut in.  Upon checking CCTV an unknown person is seen walking to the patio door and opening them.  As the home owner re-enters the house the person walks off. Actual property not entered and nothing appears to have been taken from the garden area.
  • Grange
  • Stamford Street – Unsuccessful attempt made to force entry via kitchen window. No entry gained.
  • Sutton Way – Mid floor flat has door kicked in to gain entry.  Untidy search of flat and Samsung television taken.
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:

  • Netherpool
  • Pool Hall Road – 2 unknown offenders enter one of the business units on ‘Olympic Park’ having used a crowbar to force open the fire door.  Unit searched and portable welding machine taken. 
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Coliseum Way – Group of youths break fire door at ‘Ten Pin’.
  • Warkworth Court – Outer pane of glass in living room window cracked by unknown means.
  • Netherpool
  • Seymour Drive – 4/5 fence panels smashed up.
  • St. Pauls
  • Glenwood Road – Number of garden ornaments thrown through living room window and front door glass causing extensive damage.
  • Wilmslow Drive – Small rock thrown through upper bedroom window.
  • Dale Avenue – Glass in front door shattered, possibly by a stone.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Coliseum Way – During business hours access gained to cash boxes in gaming machines at ‘Ten Pin’ and quantity of cash taken.
  • Stanney Lane – Access gained to fruit machines in ‘The Grace Arms’ and quantity of cash taken.
  • Cheshire Oaks – Whilst in ‘MCDonalds’ wallet removed from a coat which had been placed over the back of a chair.
  • St. Pauls
  • Old Chester Road – Unattended coat left on back of chair in ‘The Bull’ public house has wallet removed from pocket.
  • Briardale Road – Concrete boot ornament taken from front door step.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Marina Drive – Vauxhall Astra entered by unknown means and cash and IPhone 7 taken. 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Denhall Lane – VW Golf has rear window smashed and hand bag taken.
  • Neston
  • Bull Hill – Range Rover Freelander has registration plates, showing AK62 WHN taken.
  • Parkgate
  • North Parade – BMW X1 has rear window smashed and 2 x handbags taken from the boot.
  • Netherpool
  • Overpool Road – Bag taken from Citroen Berlingo. No further details.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • The Oval – Peugeot 106 has wing mirror kicked off.
