Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
7 to 15 December 2019
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
  • Netherpool
  • Poole Hall Road – 2 unknown offenders force fire door to gain entry to warehouse.  3 tills taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Ashfield Road -  Front window smashed.
  • Girton Close – Brick thrown through front window.
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Victoria Road – Rear outer pane of conservatory window smashed.  No entry gained.
  • St. Pauls
  • Smithy Lane – Bathroom window smashed with brick.
  • Walkers Lane – Bathroom and kitchen window smashed. – 2 youths detailed for throwing objects at the windows of an address on Station Road which may be linked to the damage at Walkers Lane.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – Living room window smashed with a piece of wood.
  • Grange
  • Pooltown Road – Brick thrown through window.
  • Camden Road – Brick thrown through window. – Male arrested.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Coliseum Way – Change machine entered by unknown means and quantity of cash taken.
  • Cromwell Road – Pink mountain bike taken from the foyer area of ‘The Quays’ flats after an unknown male has entered via an insecure door.
  • St. Pauls
  • Windways – Whilst in ‘Dave Pluck’ unknown male removes set of house/car keys from a counter.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:
  • Whitby
  • Woodbank Road – Silver Ford Transit, AJ12 GZP taken from driveway. 
  • Trinity Road – Motor trader left 4 SORN vehicles on a private parking area finds all 4 have been taken by unknown. - Beige Vauxhall Vectra, CX08 YUU, Blue Honda Civic, RK03 VCA, Blue Audi A6, KY51 DOA and Grey Peugeot 207, LS08 KBP.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kinsey Road – During overnight period Mazda 2, parked on car park of Sainsburys had from registration plate, displaying SL12 RFZ taken.
  • Neston
  • Park Street – Nissan Navara, parked on car park of ‘Brewers Arms’ has rear window popped open and Dewalt circular saw and blue tooth radio taken.
  • Parkgate
  • North Parade – Nissan Navara, parked on the old baths car park has window smashed and handbag and rucksack taken. – Property located on Bank Road in a hedge minus any cash.
  • Hawthorn Road - Peugeot van, parked on roadside has door forced open to gain access and circular saw and other tools taken.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Dale Hey – Land Rover Discovery entered by unknown means and 2 NorthFace coats (one blue/one red), small rucksack and a pair of Rayban sunglasses taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Hawthorn Road – Mazda MX-5 entered by unknown means and interior searched through.  Nothing believed to have been taken.
  • Station Road – VW Golf entered via drivers by unknown means.  Untidy search made of vehicle. Purse and driving licence taken.
  • Old Chester Road – Mini Cooper entered by unknown means. Hair dryer and Christmas decoration taken.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Whitby
  • Lilac Grove – Skoda Yeti, parked at roadside scratched along body work on 2 separate occasions during time frame of this bulletin.
  • Woodbank Road – Kia Sportage found to have been scratched along length of vehicle.  Unknown if this has occurred at this location or elsewhere.
  • Rossmore
  • Church Street – Kia Picanto has 2 tyres slashed.
