Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
21 to 24 December 2019
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Somerville Crescent – Front door to flat forced open and search made within. – Nothing appears taken.
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Shellway Road – Ladder used to access upper windows of port-a-cabin. 6 windows smashed and entry gained. Damage to property inside and items taken.
  • Cheshire Outlet Village – Glass pane in door of ‘Hotel Chocolate’ smashed to gain access to premises.  Cash taken.
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cambridge Road – Side gate kicked through to access rear of property.  Shed entered by unknown means and black Carrera Vengeance mountain bike taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kingsley Road – large stones thrown at premises smashing 2 windows.
  • Somerville Crescent – Electric box tampered with and damaged.
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Grass of ‘Ellesmere Port Golf Course’ damaged by the wheels of a vehicle being spun on it.
  • Grange
  • Overpool Road – Male kicks door to ‘Wheatsheaf Public House’ causing glass to shatter.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Town Lane – Insecure neon orange Carrera Vengeance, left outside village newsagents taken.
  • Capenhurst Lane – Defibrillator removed and taken from Telephone box.
  • St. Pauls
  • Hawthorn Road – Christmas wreath taken from front door.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

  • Rossmore
  • Nelson Road – Insecure VW Golf entered via passenger door and dog treats, toiletries and medication taken.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Outlet Village – Vauxhall Vivaro, parked in rear loading bay has wing mirror kicked off by group of youths.
  • Rossmore
  • Charles Price Gardens – Vauxhall Meriva – Rear window smashed.
  • St. Pauls
  • Station Road – Ford Mondeo, parked in residential parking area of ‘Wings Court’ has paint thrown over it.
