Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
27 March to 5 April 2020
  
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cambridge Road – Window smashed at ‘Agra Fort’ and fire door found wide open.  Access gained but nothing appears missing.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Bailey Avenue – Fence panel lifted to access rear of property.  Unsuccessful attempt to force rear door, cracking the bottom section of the door.
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cambridge Road – Unoccupied ‘Agra Fort’ has window smashed and entry gained via fire door.  Nothing taken.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Station Road – During open hours unknown male entered office at ‘Wirral Cars’ and took a set of car keys for a Land Rover Evoque.  Male then seen trying a few handles of cars on the forecourt before walking off. – Male arrested.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Exeter Road – Pane of glass in double glazed unit smashed by slab thrown by unknown male.
  • Cromwell Road – Large industrial bin set alight in alleyway.
  • Penn Gardens – Window smashed. – Male arrested.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Wheelie bin at rear of flats set alight.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Exeter Road – Unknown male entered garden and removed quantity of washing and towels from washing line.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Parkgate
  • Beechways Drive – Open garage entered and silver Chris Boardman electric bike taken.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wellington Road – Black/red Lexmoto Echo moped, ML69 TXG left in ‘Asda’ car park with keys in ignition taken. – Bike found at The Oval.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Windways – Citroen Berlingo, parked on car park of ‘Tesco Express’ entered and blue disability permit taken.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Meadow Lane - Mini Clubman, parked at the roadside scratched along the passenger door.
  • Netherpool
  • Warren Drive – Audi A5 scratched along the side of vehicle.
  • Sutton
  • Schubert Close – BMW 318 has windows smashed. – Named suspect.
