Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
28th May to 5th June 2020
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
  • Neston
  • Bushell Close – During the early hours of the morning an unknown offender has gained entry into property by unknown means.  Upon being disturbed by the occupant, the offender has run off.  Nothing appears to have been taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Hayfield Park Road – Property entered by unknown means and contents of purse taken.
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
  • Sutton
  • Halton Crescent – 3 unknown males seen to climb over secure garden gate having got no response after knocking on front door.  Nothing appears to have been taken from the garden.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Rochester Drive – Brick thrown through window.
  • Victoria Road – Internal door lock and cabinet damaged when door pushed open with force.
  • Briarfield – Glue put into padlock on communal alley gate.
  • Wellington Road – Glass window in bus station smashed by male who also smashed window on Stage Coach Bus. – Male arrested.
  • Milton Road – Bathroom and living room window smashed with brick. – Named suspect.
  • Stokesay Court – Ground floor kitchen window, to front of property, smashed during the early hours of the morning.
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Damage caused to inflatable pool when unknown offender has sliced into the inflated pool wall numerous times.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – Kitchen window cracked by unknown means.
  • Grange
  • Festival Road – Inflatable garden pool slashed by unknown offender. – This is the second time the pool has been damaged.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Shellway Road – Quantity of fishing equipment taken. Equipment includes a number of Sonik day and night rods, reels, and a green tracker bag.
  • Dudley Road – Black and orange Boardman suspension bike taken from secure rear garden.
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Windermere Close – 2 incinerator bins taken from garden.
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Secure rear garden accessed and silver Claud Butler Legend Highboard taken.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – Parcel left in the communal area taken by unknown person.
  • Overpool Road – Two unknown males have caused damage to the air/water machine at the ‘BP Garage’ and taken the cash contents.
  • Grange
  • Joan Bartlett Close – Two fence panels, from the front of the building taken by two unknown makes who have also damaged the concrete fence post by hitting it with hammers. 
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wellington Road – Window on Stage Coach Bus smashed by make who also smashed a window in the bus station. – Male arrested.
  • Milton Road – Toyota Previa has rear window smashed. – Named suspect.
  • Rossmore
  • Grosvenor Wharf Road – Peugeot Partner scratched.
  • Neston
  • Mill Lane – Ford Transit has both wing mirrors smashed.
  • Sutton
  • Ringway – BMW X3 entered by unknown means and damage caused to gear stick.
