Public urged to plan ahead as pubs and bars reopen

Alert message sent 03/07/2020 21:44:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

Ahead of the pubs and bars re-opening this weekend , Cheshire Police are encouraging residents to plan ahead and consider their safety if they are planning to go out.

Our four steps to safety :

* Check what arrangements your local pub has in place in advance, some venues will require pre booking, table service or reduced capacity.

* Consider how you will get home. Consider booking a taxi in advance , or if using public transport , remember to wear a face covering.

* Remember to wash your hands more regularly whilst you are out and carry hand sanitizer if you unable to access washing facilities.

* Drink responsibly and stay safe.

Extra neighbourhood patrols will be in place to give reassurance to those who are hoping to enjoy a night out.
