6 to 14 August 2020
 
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Robinson Road – Lock damaged in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry into property within St. Catherines House.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Hinderton Road – Unsuccessful attempt made to access property causing damage to wooden front door.  Hyundai vehicle, parked on driveway also had both front tyres deflated.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Green Lane – Attempt to gain entry to property by breaking the hinges and handle off conservatory door. Lock barrel damaged but no access gained.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Door to flat kicked open.  Drawers looked through and cash taken.
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Poole Hall Road – No further details. Container belonging to ‘Regatta Ltd.’ broken into. No further details.
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Breezehill Close – Lock smashed off shed to gain entry.  Two sets of golf clubs and trolleys taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Waverton Road – Shed has door pulled off, leaving lock insitu to gain access. Very untidy search made.  Fishing equipment, toolbox and a telescope taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Lane – Wooden planes, suspended in trees at Whitby Park for childrens charity taken down by unknown offenders and set alight.
  • Rossmore
  • New Grosvenor Road – Front door of ‘Pool Centre’ set alight by unknown offenders.
  • Merseyton Road – Waste, placed underneath the railway bridge set alight.
  • Redhills Mews – Pot of paint thrown over rear fence, hitting house wall and covering it with paint.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Oakfield Road – During a several month period access gained to private land.  Shed, sailing boat and other items damaged.
  • Netherpool
  • North Road – Lock broken off gating opposite ‘Vauxhall Motors’. No entry gained and black car seen driving off at speed.
  • Grange
  • Queens Gardens – Window smashed at property. – Female arrested and charged.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Gateacre Court – Gates to driveway taken.
  • Sutton
  • Capenhurst Lane – Silver electric bike, left insecure ‘Go Local’ taken by unknown male.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Lower Mersey Street – Nissan Qashqai, parked on overflow car park of ‘Holiday Inn’ has door handle damaged in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry.
  • Colemere Court – Mitsubishi ASX has lock damaged.  No access to vehicle gained. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Selby Green – Vauxhall Zafira has three bags, containing clothing removed from boot area.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kinsey Road – Kia Picanto, parked in car park near to ‘Penguin Original’ store jumped on by unknown offender/s, causing damage to the roof.
  • Stanney Lane – Toyota Auris has eggs thrown at it and denting caused by unknown means.
  • Malvern Avenue – Dacia Sandero has nearside wing mirror punched causing the glass to smash. – Named suspect.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands - Poole Hall Road – No further details. Container belonging to ‘Regatta Ltd.’ broken into. No further details.
  • Parklands – Vauxhall Corsa has picture of face scratched into the passenger side door.
  • Sutton
  • Poole Hall Road – No further details. Container belonging to ‘Regatta Ltd.’ broken into. No further details.
  • Bruera Road – Vauxhall Grandland has windscreen smashed.
  • Randle Meadow – Ford Ka, parked in the car park to the rear of the ‘Straw Hat’ had both wing mirrors kicked off, leaving them connected by the wiring.
  • Grange
  • Faraday Road – Vauxhall Astra, parked on drive way has the word ‘Gimp’ scratched into bonnet.
Other incidents of note…
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore - Fiat Punto, reported stolen from Westminster Road on 2nd July located on wasteland off the section of road that runs parallel to the M53, Stanley Road to Rossmore Road East.  The vehicle had been destroyed by fire.
