Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
15 to 25 November 2020
  
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Hillfield Road – Unsuccessful attempt to for open garage door to integral garage.  No entry gained.
  • Grange
  • Luton Road – Damage found to door where an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry has been made.  Door to shed also damaged, but no entry gained.
  • Sutton Way – Flat entered by unknown means and TV taken.
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Parkgate Road – Door to alcohol store damaged.  Nothing believed taken. - Males in a dark coloured van been seen acting suspiciously in the area the previous day.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Liverpool Road – Front window smashed.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Berwick Road West – Window in corridor of ‘Mercure Hotel’ smashed. – Named suspect.
  • Netherpool
  • Rossmore Road East – Kitchen window smashed. – Named suspect.
  • Airfield Way – Large hole cut into perimeter fencing to gain access to grounds of ‘The Hangers’.  Access gained to 40ft container.  Nothing reported taken.
  • Grange
  • Overpool Road – Glass in bus shelter smashed.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Lower Mersey Street – Felt bike, in black with white writing and detail, taken from the back of private car park of ‘Mersey Terrace’.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Kelmscott Close – Large chrome patio heater taken from patio of a residence within ‘The Manor House’.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Rivacre View – Two male offenders ride up to residential property on a motorbike.  A securely parked grey Yamaha 09 Tracer, DK66 ZTR, parked under front window taken. – Found on Stanley Lane, Eastham.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Grosvenor Wharf Road – Saab, parked on private parking area found with large dent in bonnet.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • The Village – Two vehicles set a light, possibly by same two offenders using a motorbike, which left in the direction of Neston.
  • Rear window smashed on Fiat 500 before it was set alight.
  • Vauxhall Vectra, just a bit further along in Burton Road had a brick thrown through the rear window before it was set alight.
  • Grange
  • Overpool Road – Rear windscreen of Vauxhall Insignia smashed with large stone.
